Terms of Service

ServicePilot is a marketplace that connects customers ("Customers") with independent home service professionals ("Pilots") and enables hosts to list short-stay properties. We facilitate transactions but are not a party to service agreements between Customers and Pilots.

ServicePilot does not employ Pilots directly. Pilots are independent service providers responsible for their own work quality, insurance, and compliance with applicable Nigerian laws.

You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of Nigeria to use ServicePilot. By using the platform you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and all activity under your account.
• Notify us immediately at support@servicepilot.ng if you suspect unauthorised access.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

• When you submit a service request, you are asking ServicePilot to find and quote for a Pilot to perform that service.
• Quotes are fixed prices, no hidden fees. You must accept a quote and pay before a Pilot is assigned.
• You agree to be present or make access arrangements for the scheduled service time.
• After a Pilot marks a job complete, you have 72 hours to confirm completion or raise a dispute. After 72 hours, the job is auto-confirmed.
• Cancellations must be made at least 4 hours before the scheduled time to avoid a cancellation fee.

• When you book a stay, you are entering into a short-term rental agreement with the host (not ServicePilot).
• The total amount shown includes all fees, there are no additional booking charges from ServicePilot.
• Refund and cancellation policies are set by individual hosts and are shown before you confirm a booking.
• If no cancellation policy is stated, all bookings are non-refundable after payment.
• Guests are responsible for any damage caused during their stay.

• You must own or have the legal right to rent the property you list.
• All property information, photos, and pricing must be accurate.
• You are responsible for collecting and remitting any applicable taxes (e.g., VAT, hotel levy) on your rental income.
• ServicePilot reserves the right to remove listings that violate these terms or receive repeated negative reviews.

All payments are processed in Nigerian Naira (₦) via Flutterwave. ServicePilot charges a platform fee which is deducted from Pilot/host payouts. The exact fee is shown before any transaction is confirmed.

Payments are held by Flutterwave until job or stay completion is confirmed, providing protection for both parties.

You agree not to:

• Use ServicePilot for any illegal purpose or in violation of Nigerian law
• Attempt to circumvent the platform by paying Pilots or hosts directly (off-platform) to avoid fees
• Post false, misleading, or defamatory reviews
• Harass, threaten, or discriminate against other users
• Attempt to access systems or data not intended for you
• Use automated tools to scrape, spam, or abuse the platform

If you have a dispute with a Pilot or host, contact us first at support@servicepilot.ng. We will attempt to mediate in good faith. ServicePilot's decisions on disputes are final.

ServicePilot is not liable for losses arising from disputes between Customers, Pilots, and hosts.

ServicePilot provides the platform "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by Nigerian law:

• We do not guarantee the quality of work performed by Pilots or the accuracy of listing descriptions
• Our total liability to you will not exceed the amount paid by you for the transaction giving rise to the claim
• We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages

ServicePilot owns all rights to the app, website, and platform. You retain ownership of any content you post (reviews, listing photos) but grant us a licence to display and promote it on the platform.

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you via the app at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of Nigerian courts.
